Javier Hernandez empty Chelsea's dream of top four with his fine goal

Chelsea couldn't enjoy a back to back premier league victory after West Ham's Javier Hernandez's 73th minute equaliser.

Chelsea created lots of chances, kudos to Willian, but their inability to put the ball at the back of the net made it a bad end at Stamford Bridge for the Blues.

Substitute Javier Hernandez's clinical 73rd minute equaliser was just his side's fourth touch inside the Chelsea box.

The ever-reliable Cesar Azpilicueta had initially put the Blues ahead in the 36th minute, reacting fastest to Alvaro Morata's nod-down and dedicating the goal to the late Ray Wilkins.

Marcos Alonso and Olivier Giroud both thought they'd won the game late on, only to be denied by two stunning saves by Hammers keeper Joe Hart.

Any lingering hopes of a top four finish are extinguished for the home side, while David Moyes claims an invaluable point in the Irons' battle for Premier League survival.
