The Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti, closed down as trouble looms

The Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti, on Sunday was closed down after a highly troubled protest took place over the deaths of two students who complained of malaria before death at the University's campus.

Reports disclosed that they were moved to the Polytechnic Health Centre for medical attention, but it was instead driven worse and later died in the early hours of Saturday.

Following the happenings, The Registrar of the institution, Sade Adediran made a declaration of the closure of the school, but didn't state the death of any student as the reports revealed.

The school authorities in a statement seriously warned that no student should be seen around the campus or they will be arrested and be punished.

The students highly damaged some school properties, and also blocked all roads leading to the institution preventing free movement of vehicles.
