Female Fraudster Kingpin finally apprehended in Ghana after former wrong arrest (Photo)



Ghanaian police apprehended a suspected fraudster, Bridget Enchill Obeng, who so far had supposedly duped over 10 people. Bridget was said to have collected over GH¢50,000 from her clients.

Bridget have been carrying out from dubious act with a different name, Naana before the police arrested her with the help an information released to them as she was been wanted the police with the list of other wanted people in the country.

ACP Peter Gyimah , CID's Director of Operations, revealed in an interview that the suspect go around with the name Naana and claimed to be a car dealer and duped people with it.

He further said that Naana will parade car around with a tag of 'For Sale'  on it and when serious buyers calls, she will take them to her co-fraudsters acting as the car owner only to lure the buyer to pay, so they can do away with the money.

The victims will be told to pick the car at a particular place, but when the victim get there, there will be no car to go with.

Many of the victims who disclosed the fraudulent activities of Naana to the Police said that she always met with them in in some of the popular hospitals in Accra including 37 Military hospital, Ridge Hospital and the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital to receive their payment.

Before now, the police had earlier apprehended a woman thought to be Naana, but it was later revealed that it was a wrong identity, however  she was later apprehended by the Osu Police in partnership with the CID.
